• Purchasing a home with an existing pool can be tricky. An inspector will usually preform an overall home inspection, listing items he/she noticed during the visit. It is wise to find an experienced pool technician both with the structure of the pool and licensed for equipment and electrical diagnosis.
• Selling a home will require an inspection to be done. The pool will be included during this time and is also wise to get an inspection from an experienced pool technician.
• During the inspection, the pool structure and deck are checked for movement as well as the condition of the plaster, mastic, decking, tile & coping.
• All above ground equipment and electrical are examined for defects and wear.  
• Equipment is also turned on and tested. If a problem is found it can be listed and bid for repairs.
