Purchasing a home with an existing pool can be tricky. An inspector will usually preform an overall home inspection, listing items he/she noticed during the visit. It is wise to find an experienced pool technician both with the structure of the pool and licensed for equipment and electrical diagnosis.
Selling a home will require an inspection to be done. The pool will be included during this time and is also wise to get an inspection from an experienced pool technician.
During the inspection, the pool structure and deck are checked for movement as well as the condition of the plaster, mastic, decking, tile & coping.
All above ground equipment and electrical are examined for defects and wear.
Equipment is also turned on and tested. If a problem is found it can be listed and bid for repairs.
Note: If bid is done on Heaters or Controllers there will be an additional charge.
