Standard White Plaster Finish
White plaster is the most economical but does not last as long as the others. White plaster is the tried and true pool and spa surface finish. It remains a popular choice in spite of the all the other choices that have come into the market. The combination of white cement, white marble aggregate and water make for an economical choice that will give you that classic white swimming pool look.
White plaster is susceptible to all water conditions such as improperly maintained or fluctuation chemical conditions. Therefore, it is reasonable to expect that during the life of the product, it will change in appearance. It could be slight shading or scaling or to the extreme of pronounced staining, etching or delamination. For the purpose of selecting a standard white plaster, it's critical to be fully aware that these situations could occur.
Material suppliers have developed coatings that would avoid or lessen the degree of some of the problems listed above. These products increase the strength and durability without sacrificing the beauty or the texture of white plaster. Please ask us about these products!
